such as the Kentucky Derby. [The seller of this item was a nephew of Keen and his helper when he took the finish shot from a ladder for the Courier-Journal.]
Canonero II, (foaled 1968), Kentucky-bred, Venezuelan-trained Thoroughbred racehorse that in 1971 won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes but lost at the Belmont Stakes, ending his bid for the coveted Triple Crown of American horse racing.
