19th Century Meissen Porcelain Cherub Putti Figurine Wall Mount Bracket Shelf
Fine Meissen Porcelain mounted wall brackets,dating to the third quarter of the 19th century, featuring reticulated baskets with floral ornamentation and a putti figure.
The wall mount bracket features a sculptural porcelain putti – that is, a classically-inspired, semi-nude boy – who sits at the base of the basket-form body. The putti sheathed in fabric and his hands holding a bunch of purple grapes.
The top and back of the brackets are covered with wood. The flat wooden top provides a platform on which to place a fine piece of decorative art.

Used Condition: Fair. There are significant losses and chips to the flowers along  each side of the bracket. There are leaves and flowers that are loosely attached and I cannot guarantee they will stay in place during transit. The wood is aged. Please zoom in and view photos closely. Selling As-Is. I am a huge fan of Meissen so even flawed pieces are perfect to me! These pieces are exceedingly hard to come by.
