Listing is for an original 2000 Kentucky Derby Starter Pin and 2000 Kentucky Derby Media Pin. Pins are in great shape as you can see in the pictures. Please look at the pictures carefully as this is the one you will receive.
600 Starter Pins are produced each year for the entrants in the Ky Derby. Each Owner receives 20 pins for their entourage which will give them access to the walkover, paddock before the race and if lucky, the winners circle after the race. A maximum of 400 pins are given out to the starting field of 20 horses. 200 pins are kept in reserve if any owners, trainers or jockeys need extra pins for their guest.
