Here are 4 very nice antique porcelain Monkey Band members, 3 by Scheibe Alsbach Germany and the other one is German too but I can't find the mark. They must be late 19th- very early 20th century.
There is the band leader, a horn player, a bagpipe player and the violinist. They are beautifully decorated with great detail and are in very good condition for their age with normal wear. The lower part of the bagpipe has a break on 1 of the 2 pipes that connects it (see last photo). I did a blacklight check and there are no other issues aside from normal wear.
The bandleader is about 7.25" tall and the others, between 5.75" - 5 7/8" Lots of character!
Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact. Keep this in mind when bidding.
