Antique 19thC Meissen Porcelain Cobalt & Watteau Scene Plate Porzellan Teller

For sale is
a really stunning Watteau scene plate made by Meissen in the late 19th century . The piece is hand painted with a top notch scene in the center of a couple in a landscape surrounding with some nice gold trim around it. The edge has three panels of floral arrangements on white ground to it with the rest of the plate having a cobalt blue ground color and some more fancy gilding to it. A truly amazing and elegant plate! The plate is in superb condition which is always nice. It is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 8.375 inches in diameter.
