Antique Duart Permanent Wave Machine

Description

Antique permanent wave machine by Duart.  Adjustable height up to 7 feet tall or as low as 5 1/2"  tall.  Original electric chord is in surprisingly excellent condition, supple rubber with no cracks or breaks.  Machine is possibly still functional, but has not been plugged in.  This machine is being sold as an artifact and not as a working machine.  Heat clamps mostly in great condition, though a few would need to be repaired.  Spring mechanism for pull down, retractable heat clamp chords still works, but spring mechanism could be tightened or refurbished to assure best retraction.  Rolls beautifully on 3 wheels.
