BLUE ONION by MEISSEN Crossed Swords Compote Footed Dessert Bowl Tazza
MAKER: Meissen - bears the crossed swords mark on both the base of the bowl and the foot.  The crossed swords on the foot is marked with two incised lines, indicating it to be a factory second - although no manufacturing flaws are evident.  The crosseswords on the bowl have no incised lines.
PATTERN:  Blue Onion
MATERIAL: Porcelain
PIECE NAME: Compote
HEIGHT: 5 3/4"
WIDTH: 5 7/8" at widest.
CONDITION:  The only flaw I can see is that there's some visible glue or epoxy where the foot meets the bowl (photos 4 & 6) - they were attached together with cement or epoxy at manufacture, but this may be a later reinforcement.  No chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, etc.
