Here you have a Great Bit of Vintage ADVERTISING MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCAN!!! This is AN ORIGINAL 1931 BUICK ADVERTISEMENT FEATURING 1930 KENTUCKY DERBY WINNER GALLANT FOX! The text speaks of repeat champions, and uses the example of A THOROUGHBRED WHO WINS THE PREAKNESS, THE KENTUCKY DERBY, THE LAWRENCE REALIZATION and the DWYER STAKES. No mention of the name but it refers to GALLANT FOX of 1930. It also mentions a golfer “WHOSE PROWESS ENABLED HIM TO WIN FOUR MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIPS DURING 1930.” Again no name (nor image), but this refers to BOBBY JONES AND HIS GRAND SLAM… This measures 12 inches X 17 ½ inches. This was a centerfold neatly removed from a 1930 magazine. It is in fine condition with the vertical center crease and staple holes. It's not mint, but fairly clean and a tough find!!!
