Meissen Hand Painted Purple & Multicolor Floral Dessert Plate Circa 1860-1924
Nice porcelain plate with relief molded scrollwork and shell edge. Decorated with hand painted purple and yellow flowers in the center with small pink, blue, orange, and yellow flowers on the border. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze crossed swords mark used by the royal Meissen factory between 1860 and 1924. Has two cross slashes through the mark.
Most of the gold has worn off the edge of the plate, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 7 3/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
