He did not win but he did nab 2

place.
He won the G1 Santa Anita Derby, the G2 San Felipe, the G2 Robert
Lewis, the G1 Cash Call Futurity.
Not only was he an exciting race horse, he is turning out to be an even better sire- he is now the number one 3
rd
crop sire in the world and number 3 on the general sire list behind Tapit and Medaglia d’Oro.
Pioneer stands at WinStar and just received a raise for 2016- to a 5,000 fee.
You all might know him best as the sire of the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years, American Phaoah.
He has also sired JoJo Warrior, Pioneerof the West, Social Inclusion, Cairo Prince to name a few.

The horse is then encouraged to nuzzle the paint, getting it on his or her nose. An artist’s pad is then placed before them, which they are allowed to snort, lick and smudge the paint on.
