Known as "The Red Terror", powerful racehorse Phar Lap became a hero of his time, an icon of Australia, and an International legend whose exploits were chronicled in the world's leading newspapers and even a full-length feature movie! Bred in New Zealand and trained in Australia, Phar Lap started his racing career in 1929. He won an incredible 37 of his 51 starts, coming in second three times.
