    Description

    Special Auction:
    Reticulated Bowl in the BLUE ONION pattern.
    This beautiful pierced porcelain bowl was manufactured by the Meissen Oven and Porcelain Manufactory in Germany (formally Carl Teichert). This decorative glazed bowl with graceful scalloped edge stands on three blue and white "dolphin feet" and is decorated in the middle with a Blue Onion transfer.
    The surrounding border is pierced with an interlocking floral pattern all skillfully lined in a thin blue pinstripe.
    The bottom of the bowl is marked in blue "Meissen" in an oval with a small star shape underneath.
    This maker's mark was in use from 1882 until 1929.
    Bowl measures 8.25" wide and 3" tall
    This porcelain piece is in very good condition with
    couple small cracks visible underneath.
