RARE MEISSEN FLOWER ENCRUSTED TEAPOT ANTIQUE

Description

Beautiful and very rare to find antique Meissen flower & leaf encrusted and teapot.  Wonderfully decorated with various flower specimens and leaves and vines surrounding the outside of this teapot with unusual green vine legs and hand painted flowers sprigs.  Also having pinkish color painted scrolls and band around top.  Lid with pretty pink rose like flower on top.  Meissen first quality blue crossed swords mark on bottom.
Measures 5.5 inches long x 3.5 inches high.  Condition no cracks to body or lid.  Small chip to inside lip of teapot where lid sits and nick around rim where lid inserts. see last photos.  Slight lean forward but that is in the making/design. Leaves & vines are mostly good with some leaves having chips and flowers with numerous chips. see photos I photographed all sides.  Exceptional art work & craftsmanship by Meissen with very rare to find green vine legs.
