    Description

    Here is a complete set of FOUR SECRETARIAT Lithographs by J V Martin. They are plates I, II, III & IV dated 1973 & 1974. Plate I THE KENTUCKY DERBY, Plate II THE PREAKNESS STAKES, Plate III THE BELMONT STAKES and PLATE IV THE TRIPLE CROWN - SECRETARIAT. These lithographs, although 40 years old are in excellent condition. They may have very slight wear from being moved around over the years, but they look new. This set is a very rare find and I have several sets. I purchased a set last year from a woman who owned an antique shop and who had ties that went way back, in the racing community. After I sold the one set, I contacted her to see if she had anymore. She did. I was able to acquire several and may be able to get a few more sets. After that, they will be gone. A great opportunity for anyone who is an avid racing or Secretariat fan!
    Please note- the photos are from the first set I had several months back. The first plate I that I had was crinkled in the corner, none of these lithographs are crinkled. Also, you will notice, that when they printed the lithographs, Plate I was printed on slightly whiter paper than the other three.
    Each print is an overall size of 11" X 13", each image is approximately 7 1/2" X 9 1/2".
