    Description

Unused and rarely (if ever) seen these days, this complete 4 1/8" x 9 1/2" advertising notepad was published by the former St. Lawrence Starch Company in
    PORT CREDIT
    (now part of Mississauga) Ontario.
On its canary-yellow cover is an illustration of the company's two-pound tin of corn syrup surrounded by French-language text with the heading 'Liste d'Achats', or shopping list.  Other popular products are also starred.   The company's name is shown in English.
The pad has 50 pages with a sturdy piece of cardboard at the back.  Each page is identically illustrated.
Please have a look at the accompanying photos.
Believed to date to the 1950s, the pad is securely staple-bound and very clean throughout.  No pages missing.
St. Lawrence Starch remained in business for a century, closing in 1999.  Remembering it, this attractive souvenir is well worth your attention!
