    Description

    Hurry On (1913-1936) revived the Matchem sire line and was undefeated in six starts. He was sired by Marcovil- Tout Suite. He was the leading sire in Great Britain and Ireland in 1926. His daughter's produced seven classic winners making him the Leading Broodmare Sire in GB and Ireland in 1938, 1944 and 1945.
    This vintage color print was taken from a period publication. It measures 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches, on backing paper measuring 8 5/8 x 6 1/4 inches. .
    The item
    came with a number of horse racing items that belonged to Walter S. Vosburgh, an original member of The Jockey Club, turf historian ( author of American Racing, 1866-1921 etc. ), official handicapper for various racing associations, including New York race tracks from 1894-1934 and for whom the Vosburgh Stakes at Belmont Park is named.
