Vintage Unopened Set Prell Green Shampoo • Bonus Conditioner • NOS 7 oz Bottles

This is an unopened set of two plastic bottles of vintage Prell shampoo and conditioner.  The bottle tops are factory sealed in a paperboard sleeve.  The original price sticker showing 99 cents is still attached.  Made by Procter & Gamble.  Excellent condition with both front and rear labels intact.
Some evaporation has occurred over the decades since this was manufactured.  I have wondered why some sealed plastic bottles allow slow evaporation after decades in storage, so I researched it, and I found the following info written by a chemist:   "There is a general belief that plastics are impermeable, probably because many liquids are stored in plastic containers. This is, however, not correct. Plastics are permeable to water and also to gases. The permeability is low but is not zero and therefore, when very long periods of time are involved, a perceptible change occurs.
The process involved is diffusion and depends basically on the type of plastic."
Because of the weight of the two bottles, this will ship at the 2 lb rate after adding a box and packing material.
