Vtg Ladies Hair Curling/Waving Iron by Adoration Brand - Germany in Original Box

Description

Vtg Adoration Brand Waving Iron Made in Germany (stamped on back of inside sliding box).   Quite heavy and looks like 2 different metals; bottom handle crosses to top of iron looks to be copper??? Top handle crosses to bottom and is silver/gray metal. Stamped on each handle near center is Adoration and Germany and a large C near Germany.  Curling iron is approx 10.5 in long.  Opens and closes easily.  Inside box shows wear to edges and corners; no rips or tears or torn corners.  Ends are a bit pushed in/out; not entirely straight.  Outside box shows wear to edges and corners.  Paper label shows wear and some tears as seen in photos.  It looks like it is printed in English, German, French and Spanish.  Someone has written in pencil, Early 1930s. Also in red stamp is E/L Morris Mfg, Co, Detroit, Mich. Box is approx 11.5 in long x 2.25 in wide and 0.75 deep.  Please see photos.  Selling as is.
